In an Instagram post, 50 Cent joked that he’s switching to family-friendly language going forward.
Next to a video showing the rapper prepping for a show and telling folks they owe him cash, 50 Cent poked fun at his past lyrics. “I’d like to make a formal apology to everyone for the foul language I used in the earlier stages of my career,” he wrote, hilariously contradicting himself by including a clip where he’s still cursing. “I hope you guys made progress today on anything you set your heart to.”

The playful message shows 50 Cent’s lighter side, a switch from his usual Instagram activity where he frequently roasts other celebrities.
In recent months, his social media targets have included Floyd Mayweather (whose claim about owning “upwards of 100 buildings” in NYC 50 questioned), and the artist formerly known as Kanye West. He also shared his thoughts on Tracy Morgan getting sick courtside at a New York Knicks game, and NYC Mayor Eric Adams reportedly getting booed when Planet Hollywood reopened earlier this month.
