Mariah Carey crashed her 13-year-old son Moroccan’s Twitch stream on Friday night (April 4).
The pop superstar was joined by her daughter Monroe, Moroccan’s twin sister, who some viewers initially confused for their famous mom. Carey shares the twins with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, who has fathered ten additional children with five different women.
“What are y’all talking about? That’s my sister,” Moroccan clarified to someone who mistook Monroe for the five-time Grammy winner.
“I know I just wanted to get everyone’s hopes up,” the person joked back.
After welcoming his mom and sister to the chat, Moroccan seemed embarrassed while his friends greeted “Ms. Carey.” “Y’all need to get out now,” he told them. “Everybody get out.”
“Mom, they can see you,” the teenager continued. “They’re saying, ‘Hi, Mariah, I love you… Oh my God.”
“Hi, you guys. I love you, too,” she responded.
Despite his embarrassment, when Moroccan asked his mom and sister to leave a second time, they stayed in the background chatting with each other.
Carey never hides her affection for ‘Dem Kids,’ who sometimes join her on stage during her shows. The twins recently accompanied their mom, along with Anderson .Paak, when she received recognition at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards last month.
Last year, Carey told People that her tech-savvy son introduced her to Fortnite before she joined the game for their ‘Winterfest’ event.
