Duke Dennis reveals he was detained by Chinese authorities after they discovered a bullet in his luggage.
During a recent livestream with Kai Cenat and Agent 00, Dennis shared his ordeal: “They had me there for two and a half hours trying to figure out what to do with me.”
Dennis explained that officials found the bullet in his Goyard bag. When his fellow streamers questioned how it got there, he explained it was originally in his vehicle.
“It was in my center console in my car because I didn’t want to get pulled over with a bunch of bullets,” Dennis explained. “When I cleaned them out, I put them in my Goyard bag. I took that same Goyard bag to China.”
Dennis shared that while detained, Chinese officials measured the bullet to verify its nature. “I can’t lie — I was scared as fuck,” he confessed.
Back in February, Dennis made news when he responded to GloRilla shooting her shot at him on Jorjiana’s “ILBB2” remix.
In the track, GloRilla raps, “Like my ni**as tall and brown (What else?) And mixed with a little bit of ugly,” before adding, “Uh, uh-huh/ They say shooters shoot/ “Uh, uh-huh/ Duke Dennis, what’s up with you?”
During a livestream, Dennis watched the video and reacted to the lyrics. He seemed puzzled about whether GloRilla was referring to him as “a little bit of ugly.”
“Those two lines is separate, though, right?” Dennis said with a laugh. Then speaking directly to GloRilla: “You weren’t talking about me — I think it was like ‘uh-uhs’ in between, you know, two different people. I don’t know who she was talking about.”
“OK, this is why my DMs flooded and everybody’s saying, ‘What’s up with you.’ I definitely get it now,” Dennis added.
