Bad Bunny just took over NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series.
Backed by a full band, the Puerto Rican superstar delivered an amazing 35-minute performance featuring tracks like “Pitorro de Coco” and “Voy A Llevarte Pa PR” from his newest album Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
“I swear I didn’t know there were going to be so many people here … and even a few Puerto Ricans,” Bad Bunny remarked before playing “Voy A Llevarte Pa PR.” “The next song is so that — I don’t know how many people travel to Puerto Rico – I can take you there.”
Bad Bunny also performed the more mellow “Lo Que Le Paso A Hawaii,” which he revealed came from a dream. “The song didn’t let me go back to sleep, so I wrote it completely and that’s when I fell asleep,” he explained, according to Billboard.
Earlier this year, Bad Bunny dropped his sixth studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos. The project earned some of the best reviews of his career and landed at no. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart with just five days of tracking. The following week, it climbed to No. 1 and stayed there for three weeks until The Weeknd’s Hurry Up Tomorrow knocked it off the top spot.
