Total shock hit Kai Cenat when Rihanna slid into his DMs during a recent stream. As you can see in the clips below, Cenat, who just starred in a new BAPE by KidSuper campaign, quickly invited both Rihanna and ASAP Rocky to join him on an upcoming stream.
First, Rihanna personally complimented Cenat for buying pizza for fans. The message left Cenat repeatedly speechless, and he celebrated by playing Rihanna’s 2023 hit “Diamonds.” Then Cenat revealed another message from RiRi, with the Anti singer telling him “great job all around,” sending him into another round of disbelief.
“Rihanna just texted me,” Cenat told his viewers at one point. “What the fuck? Shout out RiRi. Shout out ASAP fucking Rocky, man. Yo, bro. What the fuck, gang? …. Rihanna deadass texted me.”
Later, Cenat made it clear that Rihanna and Rocky have an open invitation to join his stream whenever they want.
“Now listen, RiRi,” he said. “If you’re listening to this, all I gotta say is if you’ve been thinking about hopping on the stream, let me know. You too, ASAP.”
If Rihanna and/or Rocky actually accept Cenat’s invitation, they’d join a growing list of celebrity guests who’ve appeared on the Twitch star’s stream, which has become an essential stop for stars looking to stay connected with pop culture.
Kai’s impact on today’s music scene is undeniable, which explains why he landed the top spot on Complex’s recent list of hip-hop’s most influential streamers. Just recently, Cenat pitched his own concept for an alternative video for Drake’s $ome $exy $ongs 4 U standout track “Nokia.”
