Andrew Schulz Slams Kendrick Lamar as ‘Hypocritical,’ Claims Diss Was Just ‘for Clicks’

Andrew Schulz is calling out what he sees as Kendrick Lamar’s double standard for dissing him while partnering with South Park co-creator Trey Parker.

The comedian appeared on Sirius XM’s The Sam Roberts Show Wednesday and addressed the GNX track “wacced out murals.” Around the one-hour mark, Schulz vented about Kendrick fans threatening him and his crew before criticizing the rapper for co-producing Parker’s upcoming film, Whitney Springs. The comedy is scheduled to hit theaters next March.

On “wacced out murals,” Kendrick fired off the line, “Don’t let no white comedian talk about no Black woman, that’s law,” which appeared to target Schulz. But the Flagrant co-host found it ironic that Kendrick would work with Parker after Lizzo was notoriously mocked about her size on a South Park episode last year.

“Did I find it hypocritical that he’s working on a movie with the South Park guys when they’ve made Lizzo jokes and all that other stuff?” Schulz said around the 1:02:00 mark in the video below. “Like yes, he’s being hypocritical. He was just doing something for clicks.

“He’s basically jumping on some internet trend. He probably wasn’t that familiar with me and didn’t realize people actually know who I am,” Schulz added. “I think he was just reacting to some video online. And then I did get confirmation it was about me. So before I responded to anything, I got confirmation.”

“It would be super egotistical to just assume it must be about me. Like, I didn’t say anything for two weeks and then I got confirmation. Basically his team contacted somebody to say, ‘Yo, we weren’t talking about you guys with that line about the killing stuff, but it was about Schulz with this thing,'” Schulz revealed. “So I’m thinking, ‘OK, you run your mouth, you tell your fans to kill my friends. You deserve whatever comes back at you and you better enjoy it.'”

Schulz again denied that his comment about wanting to “make love to” Kendrick in response to “wacced” was “racist,” as the rapper’s fans had claimed.

“People tried to turn it into racism so quickly, too. That was the most shocking part,” Schulz said. “I fired back and suddenly they’re like, ‘This is racism. This stems from the history of slave owners having sex with their slaves.’ I’m like, ‘What the fuck is happening here? How did this suddenly become racist?'”

Schulz shared more thoughts about the beef and acknowledged Kendrick as a “prolific” artist. The comedian had previously blasted K.Dot for working with Parker, claiming on Flagrant that the rapper “appreciates white comedians that make fun of Black people.”
