Azealia Banks is pushing Taylor Swift to strike back at the musician formerly called Kanye West following his wild social media claim.
In a now-removed tweet this week, Ye made a vulgar allegation that Swift—whom he has a history of trolling—had a threesome with two other music stars. “I’ll show you an example of racism,” he wrote in the vulgar post. “Justin Bieber and Harry Styles fucked Taylor Swift from both sides and didn’t call me. Oh I forgot. I can’t hold water. ON EVERYTHIIING THIS TWEET IS ONE THOUSAND PERCENT TRUE.”
The post, like many of Ye’s other shocking and often offensive statements in recent months, sparked numerous reactions online. Azealia Banks was among those responding, saying she thinks Swift should fire back.
“Omg when is Miss Taylor just going to get this f**ooot bitcccchh,” she wrote alongside a quote tweet of Ye’s claim. “Omg he’s been fucking with her for YEARSSSSS lmaoooo. TAYLOR snatch this shoe boot wearing n***a out the socket. I promise no one will give you backlash about being racist just because he’s black and ashy … UGH, I know she spares his black ass so much because she’s not wanting to deal with some backwards scrutiny about being a white lady and Kanye knows that and it’s so fucking gay and pussy. Taylor just get his ass pleaaaaaaase lmaoooo. Do it for all us black girls he steals from all day PLEEEEASSTHHEEE mike Tyson lisp.”
While her tweet might cross some lines, Banks has a point about Ye’s continuous attempts to antagonize Swift. Their complicated relationship dates back to that notorious 2009 MTV VMAs incident, which later evolved into a friendship before deteriorating again when he released “Famous” and its contentious video showing a nude wax figure of her in bed alongside controversial figures like Donald Trump and Bill Cosby.
According to The Daily Mail, an inside source revealed that Swift has sent Ye a cease and desist letter over the “false” and “defamatory” post. The British tabloid also reported that Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is enraged about the remarks and wants to confront Ye directly. Swift hasn’t addressed the situation publicly on social media, and whether she’s actually pursued legal action remains unconfirmed.
