Bella Thorne is calling out Mickey Rourke.
During a recent episode of Celebrity Big Brother UK, the 72-year-old actor made inappropriate and homophobic comments toward Jojo Siwa, 21, though he later apologized, blaming his “short fuse” for the remarks.
One of his offensive comments suggested Siwa wouldn’t “be gay anymore” if he survived the next elimination round.
After news broke that Celebrity Big Brother producers confronted Rourke about his behavior, Thorne posted on her Instagram Story Friday calling Rourke “GROSS.”
She co-starred with him in the 2020 thriller Girl, and Thorne claimed that Rourke assaulted her during a scene when her hands were zip-tied behind her back, according to The Guardian.
“He’s supposed to take a metal grinder to my knee cap and instead he used it on my genitals [through] my jeans,” Thorne wrote. “Hitting them over and over again. I had bruises on my pelvic bone — working with Mickey was one of the all time worst experiences of my life working as an actress.”
The actress also alleged that Rourke tried to further “humiliate” her by revving an engine that covered her “completely in dirt.” In other alleged incidents, Thorne described making “uncomfortable” visits to Rourke’s trailer “absolutely alone” to “convince him to show up and complete his job.”
Thorne claimed that Rourke was making “crazy demands” but “refused to speak to the director or producers.”
In 1994, Rourke pleaded not guilty to spousal abuse charges involving his then-wife, Carré Otis, whom he divorced in 1998. The actor was accused of slapping Otis and kicking her while at a publicist’s office, according to the Los Angeles Times. The charges were eventually dropped.
