Kevin Gates Replies to LeBron’s Seeming Response to His Remarks About Wife Savannah

Kevin Gates addressed what seemed to be LeBron and Savannah James’ reaction following his comments about the dynamics of their relationship.

“The truth hurts, but it heals,” Gates said in a video posted on his Instagram over the weekend. “And ‘Bron, I love you, ’cause you my na. … But anyway, look, long as you being celebrated, I don’t care who don’t like me. Long as you being celebrated, that’s all I care about. ‘Cause you my na and I love you. I don’t care if I got a fallout with somebody, I love to get the results. We gon’ get the results. … I’m a life coach and a guru.”

With a grin, Gates added, “But nah, though, I love y’all. … Sometimes the truth hurts, but it heals.” He also cracked a joke about “bunnies hopping,” possibly referencing Easter, though it might also allude to his previous comments about white women eyeing LeBron with desire.

Gates’ initial remarks included suggesting that he doesn’t approve of Savannah’s demeanor toward LeBron. “I don’t like the way Savannah look at LeBron,” Gates said. “I like the way them white women look at LeBron. Like, when as soon as he walked out there, they just be like, ‘Oh oh oh.’ They be dicked out.” He mentioned that while he thinks “a lot of people” will criticize him, he believes Savannah should “dive on the floor behind that n***a.”

In what appeared to be a response, LeBron posted on Instagram, writing, “Kings don’t concern lve with the opinions of peasants.” Savannah also shared a Nicki Minaj reaction clip where she says, “What? Um—chile, anyways, so.”
