No, Megan Thee Stallion definitely doesn’t have “a crush” on Slim Thug. The Megan: Act II star made this crystal clear during her Coachella set this past weekend, telling thousands of fans in Indio, and countless more watching from home, that she’s simply a fan of her fellow Houston artist’s music.
As you can see in the clip below, during Megan’s performance for the second weekend of Coachella 2025—where Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone were headlining—she worked “Still Tippin'” featuring Mike Jones, Slim Thug, and Paul Wall into her set.
“Y’all know where the fuck I’m from,” Megan told the audience. “And no, Slim Thug, this don’t mean I want you. I just like your music, babe.”
Thug handled the moment well, responding with a mix of emojis including laughing faces, flames, and rock hands when reacting to a Shade Room Instagram post about it.

Following coverage of the previous Coachella weekend, Thug posted a video on social media responding to Megan using his music, saying: “If that ain’t a ‘I want you, Daddy’ call, I don’t know what is. So I’m just waiting on my day. I’m just waiting on her to come to Houston and hit my line.”
In the same clip, shown below, Slim declared it was “only a matter of time at this point,” suggesting that Megan had “a crush” on him.
“I say I’m in there,” he claimed at the time. “I think I’m in there. What y’all think?”
In June, Megan will take the stage in Milwaukee as part of this year’s Summerfest lineup. But before that, she’s dropping a new track called “Whenever,” which she announced this past weekend. Along with a movie-style poster for the song came news of its April 25 release date – this Friday. No word yet on whether this is kicking off something bigger, possibly a new album, or if it’s just a perfectly timed standalone single.
