Ciara isn’t quite as eager to grow her family as her husband Russell Wilson seems to be.
Chatting with Access Hollywood, Ciara responded to Wilson, who she tied the knot with in 2016, publicly sharing his wish for another baby with her. According to CiCi, the Super Bowl champ needs to slow down, especially considering they already have three kids together plus Future Zahir, whom the singer had with Future.
“Let me tell you, someone needs to take my husband’s phone right now, okay. Because he needs to stop,” Ciara joked. “Listen, Amora came out and he start talking about ‘Cinco?’ I’m like, ‘That’s just disrespectful. Do you know what I just went through right now with this?’ […] No, but he is so funny. He’s got a great campaign going, I’m not gonna lie.”
She mentioned that people have been backing Russ in his push for the couple to have another little one: “Yeah, the people are following Rus. They all team Rus, like wait y’all not gone have like a little love and sympathy for my ovaries over here [and] for my uterus?” Ciara added.
Since tying the knot in 2016, Ciara welcomed Sienna Princess in 2017, Win Harrison in 2020, and Amora Princess in 2023. Wilson kicked off this latest baby campaign in October when Ciara posted photos of herself in an all-black leather outfit.
“I’m ready when you are,” Wilson commented under the post. “We can call him Cinco.”
Wilson came back with another proposal in March when Ciara shared more photos showing her at a dance rehearsal.
“Hey Baby, question…what color wallpaper you want for Cinco,” wrote Wilson.
The New York Giants quarterback wasn’t finished there, as he made another request earlier this month when Ciara posted a video of herself dancing at Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago.
“This is my mating call I see…” wrote Wilson. “Keep sippin’ on that @tentoonerum… Cinco goin’ tobe on di way!
