Young Thug is back—linking up with regular collaborator Future—for their new single, “Money on Money.” The duo dropped the track on Friday after hinting at its release earlier this week.
The video shows the ATL power pair with tools in hand, surgically removing the doors from what looks like an expensive car before cruising around. It might be paying homage to the Maybach-modifying visuals from Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Jay-Z’s 2011 hit “Otis.”
Shortly before the video went live, Lil Baby—among others—jumped on social media to back his fellow Atlanta rapper, posting a message hyping up the song’s visual. “@thuggerthugger1 dropping the video of the year tonight,” Baby shared on his Instagram Story.

The track lands shortly after Thug, who got out of custody last October after pleading guilty in the YSL RICO case, teased that fans should expect a new album called UY Scuti coming soon. The title borrows its name from the supergiant star sitting about 9,500 lightyears away from Earth.
Thug’s album announcement comes at the perfect moment as this month also celebrates the 10th anniversary of Thug’s highly respected Barter 6 mixtape. UY Scuti would be Thug’s first album since Business Is Business dropped in 2023.

“It’s time. Red Planet,” Thug simply posted on X (formerly Twitter), alongside a link to a website featuring the album for pre-order and various merch items.
