Fans of the term “responds” and similar words are in for a real treat with this one. The artist formerly known as Kanye West’s recent comeback to Cam’ron claiming that he and R. Kelly were both putting “a stain” on Chicago has triggered a fresh reaction from Cam, who mostly just laughed off the comments. The comeback, predictably, comes from the newest episode of the It Is What It Is podcast, where Cam and co-host Mase regularly joke around responding to all kinds of recent news alongside Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson.
Right at the beginning of the fresh episode, as shown below, Cam joked that Mase should “get your son under control,” leading Mase to playfully suggest he’s going to “have a talk with” Ye but wasn’t completely disowning him, at least “not just yet.”
When asked if he’d heard Ye’s latest remarks, Cam confirmed he had, which brings us to this latest reaction to a reaction which was also itself a reaction. Unlike Cam’s earlier comments, which he framed as criticism not based in homophobia, he took a different angle this time.
“Yeah, that’s why I’m talking to you because I don’t usually talk to n***as who suck dick,” Cam told Mase. “Once they suck dick, I don’t go back. I don’t wanna go back and forth once you admit you suck dick. That’s just me.”
This, of course, references Ye’s recent admission of allegedly having “sucked my cousin’s dick ’til I was 14.” In an earlier episode of It Is What It Is, both Cam and Mase seemed to doubt whether this claim was true because of its timing.
In the newest episode, we also saw Mase joking they’ve now entered “uncharted territory” with this topic, while Stat Baby later jumped in to read Ye’s recent Cam-focused comments word for word. Eventually, Cam and Mase, after tossing a few more jokes, decided to “leave it alone” for now.

In a recent X update, Ye, whose upcoming album might or might not be called WW3 or Cuck, threw a “fuck you” at Cam, though he also called him “a god.” In that same X post, Ye also bragged about his “$2 million Dipset belt,” likely the same one that was part of the Jim Jones and Ye news from January this year.
