Snoop Dogg got a good laugh from a post claiming IShowSpeed confused a doppelgänger for the iconic West Coast rapper and snapped a pic with him.
This past weekend, the famous streamer hit up the Fatal Fury boxing event in Times Square, New York City. While there, he bumped into someone who was a dead ringer for Snoop and grabbed a selfie with him. When footage of this amusing encounter hit the internet, Snoop jumped in to comment on a post suggesting Speed believed he was chatting with the actual Doggfather.
“almost @ishowspeed,” Snoop commented.
The lookalike is probably actor Eric Finch, a professional Snoop impersonator who previously shot a Corona commercial alongside the 53-year-old hip-hop star.
While Snoop Dogg has numerous impersonators, even nicknaming one ‘Doop Dogg’ back in 2022, IShowSpeed came face-to-face with his own female Argentinean twin, influencer Milica Ybañez, during a livestream earlier this year.
“Why do you look like me? Bro, she’s like the Argentina version of me,” he exclaimed in the clip below.
Speed otherwise enjoyed himself at the Times Square event, even playing new video game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves with fans.
Elsewhere in the Speed universe, it seems the young streaming star might be about to cash in big time from DDG, who recently floated the idea of IShowSpeed making a guest appearance in an upcoming music video for some serious money. During his own livestream, the rapper-YouTuber put $2 million on the table for Speed’s cameo. While Speed hasn’t publicly answered yet, don’t be shocked if you catch him flexing hard in DDG’s next visual.
