Playboi Carti is sending a strong message that he’s not here for paparazzi attention.
In a short video circulating online, shown below, Carti leaves a building somewhere in New York City and tries to make his way to a car. While it’s unclear exactly when the footage was taken, it seems to be from the recent past.
“If you take a pic of me, I’mma smack the dog shit outta you,” Carti apparently says, though his exact words are difficult to hear clearly because of the surrounding noise.
Earlier this week, Carti claimed he got “banned” from the 2025 Met Gala, though the reason behind any such alleged exclusion wasn’t immediately obvious.
