Adin Ross blasted Doechii during a live stream rant, labeling her “entitled” and an “industry plant” following her controversial Met Gala moment.
During his Monday Kick stream, the 24-year-old streamer unleashed a furious attack against Doechii after seeing the viral video where the rapper demanded umbrellas to shield her outfit until she reached the Met Gala red carpet.
“Oh, dude, don’t get me started on that bitch … Don’t get me started on that industry plant,” Ross fumed at the 13-minute, 40 second mark of the stream linked here, before calling her “an entitled, unintelligent piece of shit.”
“I’m not joking, bro. Stop listening to her music. [Playboi] Carti and Abel, why would you give her a feature on a remix? You shouldn’t have cleared it,” he ranted, talking about the newly-released “Timeless” remix featuring the TDE star.
He trashed her music and claimed she ripped off Gotye and Kimbra’s 2011 track “Someone That I Used to Know” for her viral hit “Anxiety,” despite the sample being legally cleared.
“Fuck Doechii, okay? She has zero talent,” he went on.
What apparently pushed him over the edge was the Grammy-winning rapper’s behavior toward staff in the viral Met Gala footage, which he showed his viewers during the stream.
“Who the fuck do you think you are, bro? You’re not Rihanna, you’re not Nicki Minaj. Why are you speaking like that?” Ross snapped.
When Doechii is heard in the clip demanding, “We need another umbrella, now” and “I need more fucking umbrellas,” Ross fired back with, “Where’s the ‘please’? Where’s the ‘may I’? What a cunt, bro. Holy fuck.”
The footage of Ross tearing into Doechii has triggered numerous reactions online.
“Adin Ross has never came up with an original thought in his life. He just sees what his incel fans say on twitter and runs with it because he knows its what that want to hear,” one user posted. “Also the last person to be calling anyone unintelligent. Mr. ‘Hitler was a great leader.'”
“going after Doechii cause of your hate for Kendrick is so nasty,” wrote another. “Adin Ross and the rest of you twinks should be fucking ashamed of yourselves.”
Meanwhile, the “Denial is a River” rapper hasn’t yet addressed Ross’ comments. She did, however, respond to the criticism after the Met Gala clip went viral online.
“God forbid a girl needs more umbrellas,” Doechii quipped on TikTok, with The Commodores hit “Easy” playing in the background.
“All jokes aside this was such an overstimulating night but I wouldn’t trade it for the world!” she added in the caption. “This was the night we all dreamed of and my team killed it (umbrellas aside)”
In a February 2025 interview with The Cut‘s Danya Issawi, the Alligator Bites Never Heal rapper tackled the persistent “industry plant” rumors.
“When people aren’t familiar with the history of an artist these days, they get suspicious,” she told the publication. “I’m pretty detached emotionally from it because I understand where it’s coming from. And to be honest, once you get any conspiracies around your career, that’s just confirmation that I’m going somewhere and I’m doing something right.”
