Soulja Boy has fired off a warning at DDG following accusations from the YouTuber and rapper’s ex-girlfriend Halle Bailey that he was physically violent toward her.
In a tweet posted Wednesday, May 14, Soulja Boy responded to reports that Bailey had been granted a restraining order against DDG, with whom she shares an 18-month-old son. “You a bitch ass nigga for putting yo hands on Halle lil nigga @PontiacMadeDDG,” he wrote. “If I catch u I’m beating the fuk out u.”
In her request for a domestic violence restraining order against DDG, which will force him to keep at least 100 yards away from her, Bailey claimed he turned violent after an argument about the visitation schedule for their 18-month-old son in January 2025, a few months after their October breakup. She accused him of yanking her hair, smashing her face into his car’s steering wheel, and chipping her tooth.
Soulja Boy himself has faced accusations of violence against women in the past. Earlier this year, he denied sexually assaulting a woman who allegedly lived with him and worked as his personal assistant. The case went to trial, and he was ordered to pay $4.25 million in damages to the woman for allegedly attacking her in 2021.
After the verdict, he compared himself to Bill Cosby and Diddy. “That shit a scam,” he complained. “If y’all think that shit is funny they over there scamming Black celebrities, n***a, cool. Fuck y’all, too. … It was 11 white folks that was all 70 years old, bruh. …I did not stand a chance!”
