Cassie’s testimony in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial continued Wednesday, with her husband Alex Fine in the courtroom—not just supporting her, but also reportedly shooting daggers at the fallen music mogul.
According to an Instagram video shared by CBS News national correspondent Jericka Duncan, Fine “glared” at Combs and his family members several times while Cassie was on the stand. These stares were particularly intense when Cassie identified 13 men who Diddy allegedly forced her to have sex with.
“I can only imagine how painful it must be to sit there, and listen to that testimony regarding your wife, and the number of people that she says she had sex with because of these ‘freak-offs,'” said Duncan, who was seated behind Fine during Cassie’s testimony.
Cassie testified she frequently developed “very” painful urinary tract infections from these “freak-offs,” and suffered from “sores” in her mouth due to regularly performing oral sex. The singer stated she would take opiates to “feel numb.”
Before the trial began, prosecutors alleged Combs forced male escorts to urinate in Cassie’s mouth.
After two days on the witness stand, Cassie explained she testified because she wanted to “do the right thing.”
“I can’t carry this anymore,” she confessed. “I can’t carry the shame, the guilt. I was guided to treat people like they were disposable.”
“What’s right is right, what’s wrong is wrong,” she added. “I’m here to do the right thing.”
