DDG Calls Out Ray J and Soulja Boy for ‘Meat Riding’ During Halle Bailey Custody Dispute

DDG blasted Ray J and Soulja Boy, accusing them of chasing clout during his ongoing situation with Halle Bailey, the mother of his child.

“Ray J was just asking to stream with me and now he trying to call his homie to get me fucking copyrighted over a song,” he vented during a stream on Thursday, May 15, as seen below. “It’s already cleared. No you can’t get a stream with me, fucko, you can’t get a stream with me. Fuck ya. It’s like, so many nas, bro… Nas I ain’t even gotta address for real. These folks be on my meat. Riding, trying to get on my wave.”

Ray J has claimed DDG’s track “What I Prefer” sounds too similar to his own song, “Slown Down.” DDG suggests there’s no legitimate case there, and finds it particularly suspicious that Ray would do this after previously wanting to collaborate on a stream. He also suggested Ray J is trying to copy him by entering the streaming world.

“Both of them niggas trying to be streamers, no one’s watching you,” he continued, then directly addressing comments Soulja Boy made about the allegations Halle Bailey made against DDG. “You will never get to my level, ever in your life. Neither one of you niggas. Soulja Boy is begging for galaxies on TikTok as we speak.”

Soulja Boy fired back with a threatening tweet on Wednesday. “You a bitch ass nigga for putting yo hands on Halle lil nigga @PontiacMadeDDG,” he wrote. “If I catch u I’m beating the fuk out u.”

Earlier this week, Halle Bailey secured a restraining order against DDG, requiring him to stay at least 100 yards away from her. She claimed he assaulted her multiple times following their breakup and said they’ve failed to reach an agreement about custody and visitation for their 18-month-old son, Halo.

On Thursday (May 15), Halle Bailey was awarded temporary physical and legal custody of their son.
