Joe Exotic’s husband of just a few weeks has reportedly been kicked back to Mexico after finishing his time in a Texas prison.
TMZ reports that Jorge Marquez Flores, 33, was shipped to Mexico after serving his sentence in federal lockup for living in the States illegally.
Known as “The Tiger King” from the hit Netflix series, 62-year-old Exotic had previously begged President Donald Trump to find a way to keep his husband from being deported. Exotic announced he’d tied the knot with Flores just last month.
On May 10, Exotic fired off a message to the president on X where he offered to give the US government half his earnings in exchange for letting him and Flores stay together.
“I will work to give [the Government] 50% of everything I make until I pay for one of your 5 million dollar gold cards,” he said. “For Jorge to use to come back or stay in America. Or a passport for me to go to Mexico.
“It’s all about dollars right? I’m willing to work for my freedom and his right to live his life with me because this corrupt system doesn’t give a rats ass about being innocent, you of all people should know that,” Exotic added.
After Flores got sent packing, Exotic posted another message begging to be freed so he could reunite with his husband. The controversial former zoo owner is currently serving a 21-year sentence for animal cruelty and trying to have his nemesis Carole Baskin killed.
“You know I could die tomorrow and I could go knowing what true love was really all about,” Exotic wrote. “Jorge gave me the most loving and devoted 10 months of my life. I pray God will give me the chance to experience life with him again.
“I went outside today and it was hard, but truly amazing how many people in gangs came up to me and check to see how I was holding up since he left, and you know they all respected us because we weren’t the typical gay people just causing drama and bed hopping, the saw that we were real and serious about our devotion to each other which is amazing that some of the worst of the worst society has to offer saw that in us,” Joe added.
“We got to get some serious campaigns going to get Trump to let me go,” he continued. “No matter where I am, I am fine with Mexico or America as long as I spend my last [sic] with Jorge.”
