The artist formerly known as Kanye West, who previously posted both “I’m a Nazi” and “I love Hitler” on the increasingly ineffective social media platform formerly known as Twitter, now declares he’s “done with antisemitism.”
In a post shared early Thursday morning, Ye stated, “I am done with antisemitism.” The 47-year-old, 24-time Grammy winner continued by expressing that he has “love” for “all people.” He also requested forgiveness from a higher power “for the pain I’ve caused.”

To be clear, we’ve traveled this path before, at least partially. In December 2023, a statement appeared on Ye’s Instagram that read, in part, “I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions.” That statement, however, didn’t explicitly have Ye declaring that he is “done with antisemitism.” At that time, Ye was about a year past an interview with Alex Jones where he stated, among other things, “I like Hitler.”
This topic has also surfaced in Ye’s music, including on “Vultures” (“How I’m antisemitic? I just fucked a Jewish bitch”) and the chorus of Vultures 1 closer “King.” More recently, he questioned how he could be “actin’ like Hitler” on the Dave Blunts-assisted “WW3.”
Thursday morning also saw Ye telling fans that he wants to “save the world again” after a FaceTime call with his and ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s children, apparently indicating this conversation sparked his latest statement.

In the past, Ye has, though in a convoluted manner, attributed his years of Nazi-focused controversies to both Joaquin Phoenix-style performance art and a revenge-driven “gimmick.” Neither of these justifications, however, have appeared to carry much credibility with the general public.
