During his testimony at Diddy’s sex trafficking and racketeering trial, Kid Cudi testified that the disgraced music mogul broke into his home after discovering his relationship with Cassie.
“I had a break-in,” Cudi stated, according to Inner City Press reporter Matthew Russell Lee. “Cassie called me at 5:30 or 6 a.m. She said Sean Combs had found out about us. She asked me to pick her up. So I did. … She was worried. … Very stressed and worried.”
Cudi said he also had a conversation with Diddy’s former assistant, Capricorn Clark, who sounded like she was “near tears” and informed him that Diddy was “in the car” outside his home. Cudi contacted Diddy, who told him he was “waiting” for him. Security cameras were present at the location, but he discovered “they weren’t working” and “had been moved.” Cudi clarified that he did not relocate them himself.
Upon returning to his property, he discovered his dog “locked up in the bathroom.” Following the break-in, Cudi testified that his dog’s demeanor shifted and they became “jittery, on edge all the time.”
