During a private jet flight from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday, May 22, Britney Spears allegedly created a disruptive scene while intoxicated.
According to TMZ, several sources familiar with the situation said that Spears was flying with her security team on Thursday when she drunkenly attempted to smoke a cigarette during the flight. She managed to light the cigarette and took a few puffs before flight attendants instructed her to extinguish it. She followed their request, but sources said that she became “difficult” and had obviously been drinking. Upon landing at LAX, authorities cautioned her against repeating such behavior.
A representative for the private airline JSX, which handled the flight on Thursday, refused to comment on the alleged incident. It doesn’t look like she will face any major consequences.
