Justin Bieber Shows Support as Chris Brown Gets Released on Bail in England

Chris Brown has walked free from custody in England, with Justin Bieber joining those celebrating his release.

Brown shared an Instagram photo of himself exiting a private jet, which prompted Bieber to comment, “welcome home.”

While the photo captures Brown on the tarmac, it remains uncertain where the aircraft touched down, as there’s some doubt about whether the 36-year-old has actually made it back to the United States.

AP News reports that London judge Tony Baumgartner approved Brown’s jail release on $6.7 million bail in return for his promise to show up in court when required. The singer was set to face a judge on June 13 if he had stayed locked up.

Brown’s freedom means he can launch his Breezy Bowl XX Tour as originally planned on June 8 in the Netherlands.

Brown was taken into custody last week over his supposed role in a 2023 nightclub incident, where the singer stands accused of assaulting music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle. He faces charges of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

HoodyBaby, a rapper and Brown associate, has also been hit with charges of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, though how deeply he was involved stays unclear.
