Controversial adult performer and OnlyFans creator Bonnie Blue has gone viral once more after footage showed her being detained by police, but did she actually get arrested?
Was Bonnie Blue arrested?
In several videos making rounds online, it looked like Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Emma Billinger, was taken into custody by British police and searched by an officer along with an unknown man. She even posted one of the clips on her Instagram with a message supposedly from her sister.
“As you may have seen, Tia has been arrested,” the post states. “We still don’t have clarity on the situation but will keep you all in the loop as soon as we know. Thanks for all of the support in the last 24 hours. This isn’t something we wanted to get out but it seems there is no privacy for her anymore. Your’s sincerely Tia’s Sister.”
Was Bonnie Blue’s arrest video staged?
In a video posted just hours afterward, she showed up wearing prison overalls and suggested that she was looking forward to having “a lot of fun” behind bars. The subsequent posts reveal that the arrest was fake and filmed for another adult video, and sharp-eyed viewers also figured out that the police car used in the footage is registered with a company that provides emergency vehicles for film and video productions.
The company is called ‘Police Car Hire UK,’ which is run by ‘Blue Light Emergency Group.’ In a statement given by Police Car Hire UK to British publication The Daily Mirror, they refused to confirm or deny their participation. “We do hire emergency vehicles to the film and television industry and are the leading supplier of police vehicles and uniforms, [but] due to non disclosure contracts, even if we did do this job, we would not be able to confirm if it was via our company or not,” the company explained.
Bonnie Blue has drawn plenty of attention for her online stunts, including a video where she claimed she slept with 1,057 men in 12 hours. She followed that spectacle by hinting that she’s pregnant, but that doesn’t appear to be true. Bottom line: don’t instantly believe everything you encounter on social media.
