Chrissy Teigen has apparently had some kind of enigmatic facial procedure that has left her followers worried.
On May 22, the model went live on Instagram and, while resting in what appeared to be a hospital bed, showed off a bandaged and visibly swollen face covered in gauze. She also turned the camera around to show what looked like a medical facility.
Teigen has been transparent previously about receiving cosmetic procedures. Back in 2017, she confessed to having work done on her armpit area.
“I had an armpit sucked out, which was one of the best things. It’s a big secret, but I don’t care,” she told Refinery 29. “It made me feel better in dresses; I felt more confident. It was the dumbest, stupidest thing I’ve ever done. The dumbest, but I like it, whatever. I have no regrets, honestly.”
In 2020, Teigen disclosed that she had cosmetic surgery on her breasts early in her modeling career.
“Yeah, I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old,” she said. “It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.”
Several months afterward, Teigen announced on Twitter (now X) that she planned to have her implants taken out.
“So…I’m getting surgery soon,” she wrote. “A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosy!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out! They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort!”
In 2021, the model revealed she underwent liposuction on her face.
