Drake Announces OVO Fest Will Make Its Comeback in Summer 2025

Drake has revealed that his popular OVO Fest will be making a comeback in 2025.

On Saturday (May 24), Central Cee performed at History in Toronto, and the 6 God surprised fans with an appearance where he delivered the exciting news. Speaking from one of the balconies, Drizzy informed the crowd he’d see them next season and that OVO Fest would return to the city.

“I’ll see you this summer, by the way” Drake told the enthusiastic crowd. “OVO Fest will be back this year.”

Drake then turned to Central Cee and said, “We’ll need you there for that.”

In addition to making the OVO Fest announcement, Drake also treated fans at Cee’s show to a special performance of “Nokia,” the hit track from his collaborative album with PartyNextDoor, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.

OVO Fest typically takes place during the first weekend of August and aligns with Toronto’s Caribana festival, which honors Caribbean culture and traditions. The inaugural OVO Fest happened in 2010 and featured performances by Jay-Z and Eminem. Other notable artists who have graced the OVO Fest stage include The Weeknd, J. Cole, and A$AP Rocky.

Drake’s most recent OVO Fest was in 2022, when he brought together Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj for a reunion performance. Canadian stars Kardinal Offishall and Nelly Furtado also took the stage that year.
