50 Cent Responds to Getting Name-Dropped in Diddy Trial: ‘I Don’t Feel Safe LOL’

Diddy’s federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial pressed on Tuesday, featuring a mid-testimony reference to 50 Cent. As regular Complex readers know, 50, as expected, has been a consistent source of frequently highlighted commentary about the trial, which is scheduled to run approximately eight weeks.

According to reporting from Complex’s Shawn Setaro, who has been present throughout Diddy’s trial, 50 Cent got brought up during Capricorn Clark’s testimony on Tuesday. Clark, for context, is taking the stand as a former assistant to Diddy. The Bad Boy Records founder has rejected the allegations against him in this case.

“Cut, CUT,” 50 posted on his go-to platform, Instagram, while responding to Tuesday’s testimony. “Wait a minute. Puffy’s got a gun. I can’t believe this. I don’t feel safe LOL.”

Featured in 50’s well-timed IG post was a screenshot of live X updates from Matthew Russell Lee, also known as Inner City Press. As shown below, Clark testified that Diddy had “a problem with” 50 Cent. This statement came after a question about whether the witness had ever witnessed Diddy carrying a gun.

50 Cent has been delivering almost daily commentary on the developments in Diddy’s case since it kicked off in earnest earlier this month. This naturally follows 50’s previous stream of remarks about Diddy’s multiple legal troubles, a subject that took over his social media presence throughout 2024.

At one point, 50 Cent was promoting a docuseries provisionally called Diddy Do It? As of September this year, the series was supposedly heading to Netflix, though no official release date had been revealed at the time of this writing.
