Diddy’s former employee, Capricorn Clark, has alleged he had wanted to kill Kid Cudi after learning the latter was dating Cassie.
On Tuesday, Clark took the witness stand, and during her testimony, she said Diddy arrived at her apartment carrying a firearm and was “livid” about the news concerning Cassie and Cudi. Clark alleged the disgraced rap mogul told her, “Get dressed, we’re going to kill this n***a,” and after saying she didn’t want to go, he responded, “I don’t give a fuck what you want, get dressed.”
Upon reaching Cudi’s home, Clark stated Diddy and his security guard left her in the vehicle and entered Cudi’s residence through the front entrance. She contacted Cassie on a burner phone to alert her, and when Diddy returned to the car, he took the phone and dialed the last number she had called.
“He took my phone and called the last number,” said Clark, according to live tweets from the courtroom by Inner City Press. “Then I saw Cudi driving up. Mr. Combs saw my face and said, ‘There’s that n***a right there.’ We drove off and saw police driving the other way toward Cudi’s house.”
Complex’s Shawn Setaro also reported that Clark stated Cudi spotted her and Diddy in the car and drove away, which prompted Diddy to chase after him. Cudi eventually escaped them, while Diddy allegedly kept Clark captive until Cassie came to his house.
According to Clark, Diddy ordered them to stay silent about the incident and to convince Cudi to tell the police that he wasn’t connected to the break-in. She also testified to seeing Diddy assault Cassie following the break-in at Cudi’s residence, and if she had stepped in, Diddy allegedly said she would have received a beating as well.
In other parts of her testimony, Clark said that Diddy threatened her for being a former Death Row Records employee and made her take a polygraph test for 5 days after being accused of theft. She also pointed out how Diddy discussed his problems with 50 Cent and claimed he said, “I don’t like all the back and forth … I like guns.”
