MGK Fires Back at Critic Over Latest Track “Cliché”: ‘It’s a Pop Song, Man’

Machine Gun Kelly won’t allow internet negativity to dampen his excitement about his latest single.

Through a video posted on his Instagram page, MGK directly addressed an X user who shared multiple harsh critiques about his new track, “Cliché.”

“‘What is this garbage?'” MGK read aloud before ridiculing a follow-up tweet, “‘The poster is even gheyer,'” while also highlighting the troll’s spelling error.

Another post from the same user stated, “They’re turning the kids gay,” accompanied by footage of several children simply enjoying the music video – once again spelling “gay” incorrectly as “ghey.”

“Just tell me you’re insecure. Tell me you found your girlfriend watching this music video without telling me,” MGK fired back. “What is this? It’s a pop song, man.”

The mockery continued from there. MGK and his drummer Rook decided to search Google Images to imagine what “Gage” might actually look like, with the artist displaying a stock image of a balding, frustrated-looking man.

“Gage, this you?” he asked while laughing.

Rook then shared a picture of Wayne D from South Park along with a clip of the character declaring, “This shit whack, man.”

“You’re mad. That song is catchy,” MGK concluded in the video.
