Suge Knight Says Former Diddy Employee Was ‘Powerless’ Following Alleged Death Threat

Suge Knight defended Capricorn Clark, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ former assistant, who gave testimony against her ex-boss on Tuesday (May 27).

During her testimony, Clark claimed that the Bad Boy Entertainment mogul threatened her life due to her connection with Knight, for whom she had previously worked as a Death Row Records employee. Clark was also accused of taking jewelry from Diddy, though she maintained that the items were lent to her and subsequently disappeared.

Knight, who’s currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for manslaughter, spoke with TMZ on Tuesday and disclosed that he had spoken with Clark following the alleged threat.

“Without throwing her under the bus, she felt scared, she felt afraid and she felt that she was pressured,” Knight explained. “She felt she was helpless.”

Knight also confirmed that Clark believed Diddy would “follow through” on his alleged threat. While Knight said he was “aware of the conversation,” he “didn’t judge it one way or the other.”

“Death Row and Bad Boy is closer than people would think,” he added.

During Clark’s testimony, she stated that when she began working for Diddy in 2004, she was warned that if “anything happened” because of her ties to Knight, he might have to kill her. During the jewelry theft incident, Clark was allegedly made to take a polygraph test and, if she failed, Diddy’s associates suggested that she would be thrown in the East River.

Knight was mentioned earlier in the trial, with Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura, claiming that the music mogul interrupted a ‘freak-off’ to confront, and potentially shoot, Knight at a nearby diner.

Bad Boy and Death Row Records were central to the heated East v. West Coast hip-hop feud in the 1990s, which concluded after the killings of 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G.
