Latto says her mystery boyfriend has helped elevate her status.
The Atlanta rapper joined Speedy Morman for a fresh episode of 360 With Speedy and couldn’t stop praising her man, whose identity remains a secret from fans.
Around the nine-minute mark of the video above, Latto shared that being in a committed relationship typically doesn’t create problems with her male collaborators.
“They gon’ test the water, but for the most part, everybody respect what I got going on,” she explained to Speedy. “They know don’t play with me. Don’t play with him. They respect that belt.”
The “Somebody” artist mentioned that as a Capricorn, her boyfriend is constantly on her mind, even during the most mundane moments.
“Eat, my man. Shit, my man. Bathe, my man. Sleep, my man,” she explained.
Latto also described it as “a blessing to have somebody that you just want to just devour,” revealing that she still experiences “butterflies” after five years together.
“I think it’s just meant to be for real,” she noted. “And then I think because we don’t got everybody in our business, like, y’all want to know so bad. You’re not.”
While she remains “obsessed” and continues to “crush” on her partner, Latto emphasized that by “building” herself up, she “attracted that energy” with her boyfriend.
“I made myself a boss, then I got with a boss,” she concluded.
Later in the conversation, Latto stood by her previous statements about having a low body count, confirming that her boyfriend is her “first and last” sexual partner.
