Snoop Dogg Is Transforming His Used Blunts Into Actual Artwork

Snoop Dogg is converting the leftovers from his smoked blunts into artwork.

TMZ reports that Snoop is teaming up with artist Erica Kovitz to develop “Rich N Infamous: The Joint Venture.” Kovitz has preserved Snoop’s blunt roach ends using plastic and chrome proxy on top of pigment panels on acrylic. The artist has also mixed cannabis residue into them to enhance the visual appeal of the collection’s designs.

Based on Snoop, these pieces will be available for purchase. They can’t be smoked, naturally, but if you want an actual piece of a rap icon hanging on your wall, you should consider buying one.

To get a better look at Snoop and Kovitz’s artwork, you’ll need to visit 9891 S. Santa Monica Blvd in Beverly Hills, California, where they’ll be displayed in a gallery during June. According to TMZ, the pieces, which are all signed, are already receiving offers, so be ready to spend some significant money.

Last year, Snoop gave fans the chance to own a roach from a blunt the rapper had previously smoked. The unique item is part of “The Shiznit: The Snoop Dogg Memorabilia Auction,” which includes verified collectibles and is currently available online.

Earlier this month, Snoop Dogg discussed a different type of art on The Breakfast Club when he shared his reaction to Kendrick Lamar calling him out on the track “wacced out murals” for posting Drake’s AI-assisted diss song, “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

“That’s my lil’ homie. He spoke his mind,” Snoop said, acknowledging that “as an older guy,” sometimes he doesn’t “have the radar” on what he’s doing.

“We family,” he stated. “You can’t have a spat or misunderstanding with your brother, your cousin? That’s how it’s supposed to be. It ain’t supposed to get no bigger than that, it’s supposed to be… understood. What’s understood don’t need to be explained.”

Snoop then clarified that he’s fine with being called out about his choices, too. “See, a big dawg can get checked if it’s by the right person, if he’s got the right intellect,” he continued. “There’s nothing wrong with properly being put in place, if you’re outta place. That’s what’s wrong with half of us, that we feel like the young generation can’t tell us nothing. You used to be young, too, and you had a mind and you had a spirit, and sometimes the young generation can teach the old dog a new trick, if he willing to listen.”
