A heckler showed up during the fourth week of Diddy’s federal trial with a threatening message for the music mogul.
Based on reports, a woman was escorted out of the Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday (June 3) after yelling profanities before the jury took their seats. A tweet from court reporter Matthew Lee of Inner City Press indicates the woman screamed, “Diddy, [they’re] coming after you, those motherfuckers.”
Other accounts suggest the woman claimed the unnamed “they” were “laughing at” the music mogul while also stating, “you’re laughing at a Black man’s legacy.” The woman allegedly challenged security to pull their weapons.
While Judge Arun Subramanian had the woman removed, Diddy reportedly stayed seated. Though this incident marks the first time a courtroom attendee has caused a disruption during the trial, protesters outside have been demanding Diddy’s release.
With fifteen days completed and approximately six weeks left, the trial has just begun, with Diddy facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. The woman wouldn’t be the first person to have a conspiracy theory about the case, as others like Boosie BadAzz have claimed that there’s a takedown being orchestrated against the Bad Boy Entertainment founder.
