DDG wants a judge to prevent Halle Bailey from traveling outside the country with their son, 18-month-old Halo.
According to TMZ, the rapper and streamer filed an emergency motion to stop his ex-girlfriend from taking Halo to Italy while she works on an upcoming project. DDG, whose real name is Darryl Granberry Jr., claims Bailey presents an “imminent emotional and psychological risk,” even though the actress-singer was scheduled to fly with Halo to Italy on Saturday.
In questioning Bailey’s mental fitness to care for their child, DDG alleges that during her pregnancy, Bailey once took a gun from his home without his permission. He claims he found The Little Mermaid star outside holding the weapon. DDG also accused Bailey of considering an abortion without telling him before changing her mind. In another alleged incident, Bailey supposedly sent “a series of alarming text messages threatening to kill herself and suggesting that their infant son, Halo, might also be harmed.”
The motion arrives just weeks after Bailey received temporary custody of Halo, which ended on June 4, following her claims that DDG was physically and emotionally abusive. Bailey accused DDG of attacking her multiple times, including one fight that happened around their child, when DDG allegedly slammed Bailey’s head against his car steering wheel and chipped her tooth.
DDG has denied these allegations and claimed that Bailey hurt herself while trying to punch him.
The streamer had previously accused Bailey of preventing him from seeing Halo, even dropping a song called “Don’t Take My Son.”
