Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour turned chaotic in London this week when two fans began brawling directly in front of the superstar.
A TikTok clip captures the moment while Bey delivered “YA YA” and “Why Don’t You Love Me” alongside dancers Les Twins at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday evening (June 5), a fight erupted in the pit area, with two men throwing punches at each other.
While the 35-time Grammy winner appeared oblivious to the altercation, surrounding fans certainly weren’t, with the TikTok caption stating: “Imagine fighting in front of Beyoncé, like calm down.”
Predictably, the comments were merciless. “‘I got beauty, i got class’ whilst the unclassiest people fight infront of her is sending me [three crying emojis],” one user commented, while another suggested: “This would have been a perfect time for her sing ‘they ain’t no divas.'”
Unfortunately, this altercation isn’t the first to happen during Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour, and oddly enough, the built-up tension in fans keeps surfacing on opening nights of shows. During the first evening of Beyoncé’s Chicago dates last month, a fight broke out among a group of women while she performed “II Hands II Heaven.”
Punches were also exchanged during the opening night of the Los Angeles portion of the tour when a group of women were exiting the venue through a VIP area.
In more uplifting Cowboy Carter Tour news, Beyoncé created an unforgettable moment for fans last month by hosting their gender reveal in front of tens of thousands during the fourth night of her East Rutherford concerts at MetLife Stadium.
As captured in fan-recorded videos, including a clip shared on Tina Knowles’ Instagram, Beyoncé is shown initially spotting a handwritten sign about the upcoming gender reveal, prompting her to tell the fans to “hold on” until later in the show. “I’ll be back,” she promised.
Later, Beyoncé followed through on her promise by locating the handwritten sign again and fulfilling its request, declaring this “a once-in-a-lifetime gender reveal” to predictably thunderous cheers.
“I had to take my time,” Beyoncé explained as she took and then opened an envelope, revealing the baby is a boy.
