When it comes to fans and their beloved celebrities, nothing slips by unnoticed — particularly not on Instagram.
On Sunday, June 8, Hailey Bieber — who has 9-month-old son Jack with husband Justin Bieber — shared a carousel of beach-themed, bikini photos to welcome summer. The initial caption said: “lemon drop martinis and therapy all summer long.”
But it didn’t remain that way.
Shortly after posting, fans spotted a subtle change: the word “therapy” had disappeared. Now, the caption simply says: “lemon drop martinis all summer long .”
Naturally, the internet called it out.
“Wait didn’t this post just say ‘therapy and lemon drop martinis all day long’? Am I now hallucinating insta posts?” one person wondered.
“Why did you delete the therapy part friend,” questioned another.
“Too many people already screenshotted the ‘therapy’ part too late to change it Hailey,” chimed in a third.
“Your husband need a therapist! He is the new britney spears,” someone else wrote.
The 28-year-old Rhode founder didn’t address the edit, but it happened during a surge of attention around Justin’s recent social media posts.
“Tired of transactional relationships,” Justin, 31, posted on Instagram. “If I have to do something to be loved That’s not love.” On his Instagram Stories, the “Peaches” singer added, “I don’t think any of us can handle hearing, ‘You just gotta try a little harder and you will be like me.’ It’s not true. I listened to those fools who told me to work harder. And there’s no end to trying to earn ur spot in this life because I tried. U have everything u need right now.”
It’s not the first time Justin has raised concern online. Last month, his Instagram post celebrating Hailey’s Vogue cover — which mentioned a previous fight and included an apology — was trimmed down to just emojis after criticism.
Despite the headlines, the couple have stayed publicly united. After initially meeting backstage at the Today show in 2009, they reconnected in 2014, dated on and off, and eventually got married at a New York City courthouse in 2018.
