Kevin Hart Playfully Tells Cardi B ‘No Pink Stuff’ During BET Awards Monologue: ‘No After Parties’

Kevin Hart made jokes about Cardi B and Stefon Diggs’ Miami yacht party, warning them to stay away from “pink stuff.” While delivering his opening monologue for the 2025 BET Awards, the comedian cracked that he decided to host the awards on a Monday night to prevent any “slippery” situations during potential afterparties.

“I’m gonna do my part. I’m shutting down the idea of after parties, no after parties tonight, OK? None. Take your asses home after this. That’s why I did it on a Monday. People gotta go to work tomorrow. No after parties. That’s where shit gets slippery at them goddamn after parties,” Hart said, apparently alluding to Diddy and the allegations against the fallen mogul. “No yachts, no boats. Cardi B, no pink stuff, what the fuck? None of that stuff. Everybody’s gonna get hit tonight. We’re live. It’s gonna be a good time,” he added. Hart was making reference to the viral videos of Cardi and Diggs partying on a yacht in Miami on Memorial Day weekend.

One of the clips showed the 31-year-old NFL star hanging out with a group of bikini-clad women on a boat before pulling out a small baggie with an unknown substance that some users online speculated was “pink cocaine.” To be clear, Cardi did not appear in the clip with the substance.

Later in the evening, Hart took a moment to shout out Cardi and other women in hip hop for what they’ve brought to the genre. “The women in hip hop are doing such amazing—I told you guys it’s a matter of giving flowers, so I wanna make sure I celebrate this correctly. Shouts out to Cardi B, shouts out to Meg[an] Thee Stallion. shouts out to Latto, Doechii, just to name a few. You guys are all doing amazing things,” Hart said. “We all love you, we all see you, we all support you. It’s dope as hell to see how you guys are pushing the goddamn business in music forward. Keep going ladies, keep going,” he wrapped up. While neither Cardi or Diggs addressed the Miami yacht controversy, New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said he was “aware” of the footage and hopes that his players will “make great decisions on and off the field.”

“So the message will be the same for all our players that we’re trying to make great decisions and any conversations that I’ve had with Stefon will remain between him and I and the club,” Vrabel added.
