Diddy Trial: Texts With Jane Doe Reveal Mogul’s Favorite Sermons

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal racketeering and sex trafficking trial has pulled back the curtain on many aspects of the music mogul’s life — and now, a surprising detail has surfaced: his favorite sermons.

As part of the case, a text message exchange between Diddy and Jane Doe from August 2022 was admitted as evidence. In it, Diddy shares a playlist titled “PD’s Favorite Sermons,” created by a YouTube account called “Assistants PD,” which, at the time, only had one follower.

While prosecutors used the messages to highlight Diddy and Jane’s involvement in sex acts that included escorts—referred to as “hotel nights”—another part of the thread shows Diddy sending over the sermon playlist.

“This is special! Thank u baby. Gonna dive into it,” Jane replied in the texts.

The playlist was included in an exhibit presented during Jane Doe’s June 5 testimony, adding yet another layer to the ongoing trial.

Jane Doe took the stand again on Tuesday (June 10), shedding more light on Diddy’s spiritual side, which included sharing sermons with her regularly.

“He had a favorite pastor, and he would often put a lot of sermons on the television and we would watch it together and we would talk about it,” she told the court. “And he would send me sermons and I would start sending him sermons and I would watch them on my own.”

The playlist Diddy shared with her, titled PD’s Favorite Sermons, was entered into evidence and reveals a mix of spiritual teachings, motivational content, and even a stretch routine. Here’s the full list:
