Diddy’s Prison Outfit from Monster’s Ball Fetches $24,500 at Auction

Diddy’s prison outfit from Monster’s Ball just got scooped up at auction for a hefty $24,510.

GWS Auctions revealed that the ensemble came with a white Hanes tee, a light grey cut-off sweatshirt, Faded Glory blue jeans, black slip-on canvas shoes, and even a production tag detailing its use in the film.

The bidding war drew in 49 bids before it finally closed on Saturday, June 7.

The prison outfit worn by Diddy in the 2001 film Monster’s Ball was featured in an emotional early scene where his character, Lawrence Musgrove, says goodbye to his wife and son before his execution.

Monster’s Ball was a major critical hit, earning Halle Berry an Academy Award and marking her as the first—and still only—African-American woman to win Best Actress.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s legal troubles are intensifying. As reported by Complex’s Shawn Setaro, a woman identified as Jane Doe testified about a threesome involving Diddy and a male escort. During the encounter, Diddy allegedly referred to it as a “trifecta,” comparing himself to Michael Jordan, Jane Doe to Kobe Bryant, and the escort to Shaquille O’Neal. She also referred to Diddy and Paul as “my boys.”

On Tuesday, tensions flared in court during cross-examination between Diddy’s attorney, Teny Geragos, and Jane Doe, a former romantic partner. The heated exchange revolved around text messages between Diddy and the woman.

Diddy is currently on trial for federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges and faces a possible life sentence if convicted.
