Britney Spears had something to get off her chest—and then quickly thought better of it.
On June 10, the pop star took to social media to vent about two former relationships, holding nothing back. Though she didn’t name names, Britney made her feelings crystal clear.
“I dated two f—— complete a——,” she wrote, according to E! News. “I realized I loved their dogs more than them and I think it’s because their dogs bowed to me every time I entered the room!!!”
She continued, “Now the guys were of course cruel humans that never even acknowledged me and never held my hand in the car for 6 years !!! I choose animals over people anyday !!!”
The fiery caption appeared alongside a photo of a pink flower—but the post has since been deleted.
While Britney’s had a few high-profile relationships over the years—including Justin Timberlake, Kevin Federline, Jason Trawick, and Sam Asghari—the six-year reference seems to point toward Asghari. The two met on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video, dated for years, married, and eventually divorced just over a year later.
Since the split, Spears has been linked off and on to Paul Richard Soliz.
