Trace Cyrus Accuses Brenda Song of Faking Cancer and Abortion While They Were Together

Trace Cyrus has come forward with a series of disturbing claims about his ex, Brenda Song, accusing her of deception throughout their relationship.

In a now-viral Instagram Story, the Metro Station singer responded to a comment suggesting they understood why Song “left” him. Cyrus fired back, claiming Brenda stole thousands from him, faked multiple pregnancies, and lied about being terminally ill—going as far as convincing his family she had breast cancer and a brain tumor.

He alleged that the truth came out when his mother confronted Song, leaving her “humiliated” and unwilling to face his family again. “It was all a lie,” Cyrus wrote. “She was humiliated to ever show her face around my family again once we figured it out and my mom confronted her and called her out on all of it.”

He added, “Thanks for reminding me of another scenario where I was a great loving person and someone did me wrong for no reason.”

In a follow-up post, Cyrus claimed that Song once “faked an abortion,” recalling a moment when he and his mom found her in the bathroom surrounded by what appeared to be fake blood. They rushed her to the hospital, only to later realize the incident had been staged. “That’s when all the lies started unraveling and we realized it was fake,” he wrote.

Brenda Song has not yet responded to the allegations.

In another Instagram Story, Trace Cyrus claimed that he and his family began “catching on to her lies” and eventually discovered that Brenda Song had allegedly faked having brain tumor surgery. According to Cyrus, they pulled off the bandage on her head—only to find no indication that any procedure had been done.

In his final Instagram Story post about Song, Cyrus said he hopes Song is “doing better mentally.”

Trace Cyrus and Brenda Song made their relationship public in 2010, and by the next year, the couple had announced their engagement.

That same year, E! News reported that Trace Cyrus and Brenda Song were expecting their first child. However, in 2012, Cyrus released a statement confirming that they had ended their relationship, saying they had “split up a couple of months ago.”

In a more recent appearance on Mythical Kitchen’s Last Meals series, Song reflected on a challenging time in her life—revealing that at just 16, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer while she was juggling her role on The Suite Life and had just been accepted into Harvard University.

After her breakup with Trace Cyrus, Brenda Song began dating Macaulay Culkin in 2018. The couple got engaged in January 2022, according to multiple sources, and they’re still going strong. Together, they share two children.
