Marquise Jackson took a shot at his dad, 50 Cent, on Father’s Day by turning their strained relationship into a mock betting joke.
On Sunday (June 15), the 28-year-old posted a sarcastic message on Instagram featuring a fake betting slip that poked fun at the odds of 50 Cent either sharing a photo with him or acknowledging him at all on the holiday. As expected, the fake odds leaned hard toward him not doing either.

Marquise Jackson didn’t hold back on Father’s Day, throwing shade at 50 Cent with a biting Instagram post that turned their long-standing tension into a joke.
“Oh it’s Father’s Day. Happy Father’s Day to all the real ones!” Marquise wrote, alongside a fake betting slip predicting whether 50 would acknowledge him. “I’m watching my bet and it ain’t looking too good I got the over… We all know this the day for photo ops. The Day ain’t over yet FINISH STRONG… GET ON YOUR JOB”
The jab adds another chapter to a rocky relationship that’s been strained for over a decade. Their bond reportedly fell apart following 50’s split from Marquise’s mom, Shaniqua Tompkins, and a bitter custody battle that ended in 2008.
Back then, 50 told MTV, “There’s different channels I have to go through. He has lawyers appointed to him through the court… The relationship between my wallet and his mom has changed. She said all kinds of things about me I never would expect.”
Marquise told Rap-Up in 2017 that things between him and his father went “completely south” around age 10 or 11. “He wasn’t really around enough,” he said. “Growing up, my dad was my superhero… but as I got older, you start seeing patterns and it takes an effect.”
By 2020, 50 Cent told XXL the whole situation was “sad,” saying his son “had everything I didn’t have.” Tensions got worse when 50 said he’d rather hang with 6ix9ine than Marquise.
Then came the infamous 2022 moment when Marquise offered $6,700 — the amount of one month’s child support — just to spend a day with his dad. 50 laughed it off in an Instagram video and said his son was too old to be bringing up child support.
Marquise followed up by showing he’d been blocked by 50 on social media, claiming he had no other way to reach him. In a Breakfast Club interview, 50 brushed it off, saying his son “just wants some attention.”
