Wiz Khalifa didn’t shy away from the numbers when breaking down his daily smoking routine on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week.
The Kush + Orange Juice 2 rapper sat down with Kimmel, and around the 1:30 mark, the host asked if it was true that he smokes 30 joints a day.
“Yeah, yeah,” Wiz confirmed without hesitation.
He also mentioned he gets about six hours of sleep a night. Kimmel did a quick calculation and pointed out that this means Wiz smokes roughly “one and three-quarter joints an hour.”
Wiz casually responded, “Yeah, that’s not bad at all.”
Wiz Khalifa opened up even more about his smoking habits on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, revealing that while he does average 30 joints a day, it’s not always evenly spaced out.
“I’ll smoke a couple in one hour and then none the next,” Wiz explained, noting that parenting and working out affect his routine. “I’m doing a lot of different things.” He added that his daughter, Kaydence, is turning 1 next month, and he also has a 12-year-old son, Bash.
The Flirt Season rapper proudly called himself an “amazing” baseball coach, making sure to point out that he doesn’t smoke on the field.
“Somebody put it a really good way the other day,” he told Kimmel. “They said it’s like a mental exercise—like, you smoke and then you just challenge yourself to do normal things throughout the day.”
Wiz clarified that he’s not encouraging kids to start smoking, though he admitted he began “pretty early” in his teens. “It was just for music purposes—being in the studio and hanging around other musicians, it was just the thing to do,” he said. “It kind of became something that, later on in life, helped me to get through a lot of things.”
He shouted out smoking peers like Snoop Dogg and B-Real and shared that Willie Nelson once rolled him a joint he never got the chance to smoke. Unlike Snoop, who employs a professional blunt roller and reportedly keeps up to 150 joints a day on deck, Wiz rolls his own throughout the day, joking that “it’s always there.”
Kimmel also pulled up a photo of Wiz smoking from an orange, which led to a fun discussion on fruit pipes. Wiz said he prefers “round fruits,” would smoke from a pineapple, but ruled out bananas as “too mushy.” A coconut, however, got his stamp of approval: “amazing… because it comes with water in it already.”
Wiz also continued to play it cool when asked again about his flat Earth comments, sidestepping the topic with a laugh.
