Cardi B couldn’t hide her excitement as she revealed that Stefon Diggs rented a “real castle” for their stay just outside Paris.
The 32-year-old rapper, fresh off the release of her new single “Outside,” gave fans a glimpse into their fairytale escape with videos shared on Instagram Tuesday (June 23), showing her and her new man soaking up the vibes at the stunning medieval estate.
“Why this man got us staying in a castle?” Cardi B joked, referring to Stefon Diggs, 31, as she panned over the grand exterior of their lavish stay. She even brought up Marie Antoinette, adding that despite her travels in Europe, she’d never had the chance to visit the Palace of Versailles—until now, sort of.
Inside the 12th-century fortress-turned-rentable château, which reportedly starts at $12,000 and can sleep up to 90 guests, Cardi gave fans a royal tour. Her videos showed off a massive dining hall, an indoor pool, and a rustic bathroom featuring an old-school toilet and tub.
“This is where I’mma take that royal shit,” she quipped. “And this where I’mma wash my royal hiney.”
Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have been going strong for over six months now, and she’s made it clear that this relationship feels different. After a rocky end to her marriage with Offset, Cardi says she finally feels at peace.
“I haven’t said I’m happy in a very long time,” the WAP rapper shared earlier this month. “I am genuinely happy. Throughout the day, I’m smiling like a motherfucker because I’m happy.”
In more clips shared Tuesday, Diggs is seen roaming the castle grounds in a helmet and hitting the gym—likely training for his upcoming season with the New England Patriots.
Cardi even gave him a cheeky shoutout in her new single “Outside”:
