With the rollout of her highly-anticipated album Am I the Drama? officially underway, the Grammy winner is stepping into a new chapter—publicly boo’d up with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs and preparing to divorce her estranged husband of eight years, Offset, with whom she shares three kids.
To kick off this new era—and debut the new chocolate-flavored Whipshots—Cardi took over Serendipity 3 in NYC as a guest bartender on Thursday, June 26, where she dished to People about her summer vibe and plans to turn up.
Cardi B gushed over Serendipity 3, calling it “so cute,” “so adorable,” and “perfect for a date”—even though her new man, Stefon Diggs, wasn’t in the building. Still, the NFL star was clearly on her mind when talking about her summer plans.
“I’m going to be shaking ass, drinking Whipshots,” she said. “I’m gonna be outside, but I’m gonna be outside with a partner, so that’s what I’m gonna say.”
This June marks six months since Cardi and Diggs started dating, and the “Bodak Yellow” rapper is proudly flaunting her new romance—especially after he recently swept her off her feet with a surprise castle getaway in France.
While Cardi B is embracing her hot girl summer with Stefon Diggs, Offset seems to have his eyes on someone new—pop star Sabrina Carpenter.
During the debut episode of Complex’s Interview With A Magician, the Atlanta rapper got candid while being wowed by magician Anna DeGuzman. Offset revealed he’s a mix of romantic and heartbreaker energy, and didn’t shy away from expressing admiration for Carpenter.
When asked about his softer side, Offset shared one of his most romantic gestures: “Just deliver flowers for no celebration, for just no reason,” he said. He also confessed he’s big on rose petals—but prefers not to handle the setup himself. “I’m going to pay somebody to do it, but it’s going to get done,” he added.
All this comes as he’s requested spousal support from Cardi amid their ongoing divorce.
