Charlize Theron made it clear she’s not sweating being left off the guest list for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s lavish wedding in Venice.
While speaking at her fifth annual Block Party on the Universal Studios Backlot in support of the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, the actress took a playful jab at the exclusive affair.
“I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding. But that’s OK because they suck and we’re cool,” she joked, getting laughs from the crowd.
Theron was clearly having fun with the moment, teasing both her absence and those who made the elite cut.
She also took the opportunity on stage to criticize former President Donald Trump’s immigration policies, stating, “The world feels like it’s burning.”
Bezos and Sánchez tied the knot on June 27 at the scenic San Giorgio Maggiore island, with a star-studded guest list that included Tom Brady, Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Orlando Bloom, Usher, Tommy Hilfiger, Jewel, the Kardashians, and more.
