Chris Brown is giving T-Pain his flowers, calling the two-time Grammy winner a “pioneer” and “one of the GOATs” of his generation.
In a recent Instagram Stories post, Brown—currently on his Breezy Bowl XX stadium tour with stops in Glasgow and Paris—shared, “Random thought… [T-Pain] is one of the GOATs of my generation! Giving you your flowers!!! Pioneer. Love you, my brother.”
Although he labeled it a random thought, fans couldn’t help but notice the timing, as it comes shortly after T-Pain and Drake made headlines together.
It all started when T-Pain appeared on the Crash Dummies podcast and suggested that Drake hasn’t exactly taken his own advice about “gracefully” stepping away. That comment didn’t sit well with Drake, who fired back saying Pain had “always had resentment for me.” Offset later joined the conversation, adding even more fuel to the fire.

Drake didn’t hold back in his response, saying T-Pain “always had resentment for me.” The back-and-forth didn’t end there—Offset later weighed in, stirring the pot even further.
Following Chris Brown’s recent praise for T-Pain, some fans were quick to bring up Pain’s past comments about Brown—specifically his response to Brown’s reaction over the lukewarm reception of his Breezy album back in 2022.
At the time, Brown expressed frustration, saying, “Seems like y’all only invest in the negative stories about me.” T-Pain later weighed in, attributing Brown’s response to what he called “a princess complex.”
