Bhad Bhabie is making it clear she doesn’t owe a dime of the $674K credit card debt American Express is accusing her of.
After People reported that the rapper is facing a lawsuit from the credit card company over alleged unpaid charges, she fired back via The Shade Room, calling the claims completely false.
Court docs filed on Wednesday, July 2, in Los Angeles County Superior Court reportedly show that American Express is suing her for $674,452.40, alleging she violated a credit agreement by failing to make payments.
“Shit not true. Where do they get this shit from?” Bhad Bhabie told The Shade Room, brushing off the American Express lawsuit as bogus.
According to the court documents, American Express claims they gave the rapper—real name Danielle Bregoli—access to credit on April 21, 2021. But they allege she stopped making payments around December 19, 2024. Now, the company is going after her for breach of contract, demanding she cough up the full $674,452.40.
The filing reads: “Plaintiff extended credit to Defendant for purchases and/or cash advances by Defendants and/or persons acting with Defendants’ permission on the American Express account XXXX‑XXXX‑X5000 (the ‘Account’). Defendant promised to repay Plaintiff for all charges, fees, and interest on the Account by paying the balance in full every month or by making monthly payments.”
Ironically, the lawsuit drama surfaced just days after Bhad Bhabie revealed jaw-dropping numbers from her OnlyFans success. Earlier this year, she said she raked in over $71 million in gross revenue, with $57 million in net earnings. She recently called the platform a “good way to make a lot of money really fast.”
So what’s Bhad Bhabie’s net worth? According to Celebrity Net Worth, the “Gucci Flip Flops” star is sitting on an estimated $35 million. In 2023, she posted receipts showing she made $18 million in her first month on OnlyFans. Her monthly earnings dipped to $6.7 million by May and under $1 million by November, still stacking over $38.6 million pre-tax in less than a year. She even claimed she shattered records back in 2021 by earning $1 million in just 6 hours after launching her account.
