While making the rounds to promote his upcoming F1 movie, Brad Pitt joined Jason and Travis Kelce on their New Heights podcast to chat about everything from the high-stakes world of Formula 1 to the risks of chasing franchise-level fame.
But what truly grabbed attention during their convo? A jaw-dropping—and seriously gross—“confession” Pitt made about one of his early acting jobs that left everyone stunned (and slightly queasy).
“I’ll tell you a story. I haven’t thought about this for years,” Brad Pitt began, teeing up a hilariously nasty memory from one of his earliest gigs.
He described filming a low-budget indie in a tiny, sweltering café packed with about 60 crew members. His character was starving, so the scene called for him to devour a big plate of beans and bacon. And in full method-actor fashion, Pitt dove in—hard.
“I just power down this plate of beans,” he recalled, repeating the same gut-busting routine across four takes. But by the fourth, his body started fighting back.
“Something hit me,” he confessed, prompting Jason Kelce to crack, “Oh, I know exactly what hit you,” sending all three into uncontrollable laughter.
“There was nothing I could do,” Pitt admitted, revealing that he was locked in place when nature took over. At first, he thought he could play it off. But then came the smell.
“The most diabolical something something descended on the crew in the whole room and they fleed the café. Fleed,” Pitt said, cracking up. “So, the confession you’ve heard first — right here.”
Lesson learned: “I pace myself,” he joked.
While Pitt didn’t drop the film’s name, fans might recall him scarfing baked beans in the 1991 indie Johnny Suede—which just might be the scene of the crime.
Off set, Pitt is a father of six—Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne—with ex-wife Angelina Jolie. The pair, who wed in 2014 and split in 2016, continue to co-parent their children.
